MPEDA and Sysco Team Up

The Marine Products Export Development Authority of India (MPEDA) and Sysco Corporation have undertaken a co-branding agreement for the promotion of Indian Black Tiger Shrimp in the USA market.

Leena Nair, Chairman of MPEDA, and James Butch Vidrine, director of sourcing-seafood at Sysco, signed the agreement on Oct. 5 in New Delhi at a function attended by senior officials of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, DGFT, ITPO, and a large number of seafood exporters in Udyog Bhavan. Under this agreement the MPEDA logo will be co-branded with Sysco's well established Portico brand.
