Biopolar Organic Mousse Products
Make Freezer Debut in Germany
Ökofrost, the organic frozen food specialist from Berlin, is claiming a first: an organic dessert other than ice cream for the freezer. It is out with Biopolar Bio Mousse in four flavors: chocolate, white chocolate, raspberry and mango.
“We are treading new territory in the organic frozen food field with this product line,” said Boris Czizikowski, the company’s managing director. “Nobody could have imagined a chocolate mousse from the freezer.” The product, which can be served with fruit or a sauce, can either be consumed directly after thawing, or kept in the freezer for special occasions.
The mousses, which bear the Naturland certification as genuinely organic, are produced for Biopolar by a family-run organic pastry shop in Dresden. Only pure fruit is used and artificial additives are completely verboten.
Since Ökofrost (Fax: +49-30-78776610) established the Biopolar brand three years ago, its assortment has grown to 21 products, the most popular of which is pizza topped with farm-raised organic shrimp sourced from ponds in Ecuador. |
