Helen’s Foods Debuts Line
of Frozen Organic Comfort Foods

Hearty Bean Chili is one of the new organic Comfort Meals available under the Helen’s Kitchen range from Irvine, California, USA-based Helen’s Foods.

A line of Comfort Meals, beginning with Mac & Cheese with Tofu Steaks & Broccoli, and a vegetarian Hearty Chili, each featuring their original protein-rich Tofu Steaks, has been introduced by Helen’s Foods, Irvine, California, USA.

Both meals offer a complete source of protein, a good source of calcium, are high in fiber, and contain iron, vitamins A and C.
Helen’s new Comfort Meals are certified organic, meat-free, and contain no trans-fats, MSG or GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

The Mac & Cheese with Tofu Steaks & Broccoli combines the creamy flavors of butter, milk and white cheddar cheeses with a touch of gourmet Asiago. The cheese sauce is topped with whole durum wheat small shell pasta and combined with Helen’s protein packed Vegetarian Chicken Tofu Steaks and green broccoli. It provides fifteen grams of protein with only seven grams of fat.

Helen’s vegetarian Hearty Chili is made from only organic ingredients. These include: tomatoes, onions, yellow super sweet corn, green bell peppers, red beans, black beans, and Helen’s GardenSteak™ Tofu Steaks, which give the meal a meaty texture. Helen’s Hearty Chili provides 14 grams of protein with only six grams of fat.

The new Comfort Meals are available in health food stores and specialty shops across United States and Canada, selling for a suggested retail price of $4.89.
