| Goodbye IbroMar, Hello Culimer |
IbroMar B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands, supplier of frozen
seafood, has changed its name to Culimer B.V. in order to
communicate one corporate brand name worldwide.
The new Culimer company name has been adopted for offices in
Rotterdam and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, alike. Offices in
Beijing, China, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, maintain their
named, which already had Culimer in them. IbroMar Holding B.V.
keeps its name as the corporate parent.
Frozen seafood supplier IbroMar B.V. has opened the two Culimer
offices in Beijing and Dubai in 2006 and 2007, and extended its
product range with products as new King Crab varieties, Smoked
Tuna, Super Frozen Tuna and much more. Due to the increase of
these activities the company found the need of communicating one
corporate brand name worldwide, Culimer.
"The name change to Culimer creates the opportunity to build on a
stronger market position," said Martin Brugman, president of
Culimer B.V. and its mother company IbroMar Holding B.V.
"Culimer better outlines its role in culinary consumption and has
been a strong seafood brand name for many years."
